Joyanne, has won the Rotary 5050 Ukraine draw $4,525 was the winning total, the balance of this raffle goes to support the modernizing of necessary rehabilitation therapy equipment for a hospital in Western Ukraine newly designated as an amputee rehabilitation Centre.
Funds raised by this raffle will support the modernizing of necessary rehabilitation therapy equipment for a hospital in Western Ukraine newly designated as an amputee rehabilitation Centre.
The equipment they presently have has been in use for more than 30-45 years. The aim of the project is to assist the hospital to modernize and increase the capacity of the rehabilitation unit. The hospital serves a population area of over 60,000 people of whom 10% are Internally Displaced People who have arrived from the East.
800 patients are treated daily, and 400 medical procedures are performed per month.
