Last Week's Speaker
Inspector Chris Narbonne, head of Bylaw Enforcement here in the County spoke. Retired after 30 years with the RCMP in 2016, he took on this role in an attempt to bring focus to the group and modernize the department. In a very entertaining fashion he explained that the individuals in his traffic patrol group are a unique group and probably the best in the province. He explained that "they live on the salt of your tears". Their job along with his is to make sure nobody is seriously hurt or killed on our roads. He clearly has a passion for his job. He takes quite seriously his role but has great sense of humour.
