11 December 2019
Last Week's Speaker

There are no speakers scheduled in December. If you have any ideas for the new year contact Chantelle Kelly or Mike Gorski. Also note the announcement section below. There are only 2 meetings left this year. The last one is Dec. 20 and we resume Jan. 10.

Instead of a speaker today President Bob talked about some of the activities coming. We will be busy in 2020. Thanks to some of our newer members working behind the scenes there will be opportunities to help in the community or participate in more social opportunities. Read the sections below to keep track of future events.

While we discussed upcoming events Vera passed out samples of "One Meal". This is the new version of the meal we will be packaging in Feb. It is nutritionally complete with the protein portion coming from lentil meal instead of soy. The formulation intended for international consumption is bland for our domestic tastes. We agreed the addition of more flavour would appeal better for consumers of the meals closer to home.

Uganda Girls:

An active discussion was how to best support this long term project. Brenda outlined the benefits and made some suggestions on how to fund raise and get more community support and recognition. Steve volunteered to update our website with information and provide an easy link for fund raising. CLICK THE BUTTON BELOW to get to the page along with the donation link. Share this with all friends and your social media media connections. The greater to distribution the greater benefit to the girls!
