Grab your favourite morning beverage and tune into our online meeting at 7:30 AM. Show up as you like. You can be dressed up or in your favourite bathrobe. If you wish you can turn off your camera and don't even comb your hair. You can still listen and participate in the meeting. Apparently you can log in with your phone if you wish. Don't lose your email invite that will be coming soon. This is an invitation only meeting to improve the security and the email is your link in. We have a guest speaker from the library to tell us about their programs.
Strathcona Food Bank & Grocery Gift Cards
The need is great even in our community so at a board meeting Monday we voted to contribute $500 to the Food Bank. Our original plan was to conduct a food drive. We were going to ask individual Rotarians to help out donating and gathering needed food. That becomes risky in this environment hence the donation of money. As individuals you can still help out by purchasing Sobeys/Safeway gift cards from Erin Stephen then drop them off or mail them to the Food Bank. This helps out our Interact Club and the Food Bank. Currently there is no window of opportunity to plan any large gathering. The Golf Tournament has been put off until next year. Even if we could schedule it later this season many of our sponsors are hurting.
